When Dad was visiting in December we all went on a tour of Mary Kings Close. Mary Kings Close is the remains of the old city of Edinburgh which has been found under the Royal Mile.There are so many Ghost-type tours in Edinburgh so its hard to know which one to go this. This one, however is a definate must see!

This looks liks fun! I'm getting ready to take my daughter to Scotland (we're from the US) this summer and I was researching Mary King's Close. She is 8 years old and I was wondering if this tour is pretty scary? Also, I'd love to hear what else you'd recommend for an 8 year old, her mom, and 2 grandparents.:-) We'll be staying in Edinburgh.
